Life Lessons from Scott

Life Lessons from Scott:
Any one of my kids and most of their friends can repeat these on demand. I review as I drive Taylee and her friends to school each Tuesday morning. Some were passed along to me so dad gets the credit.:

1. Life is not fair - Don't expect it to be and don't complain when it isn't.
2. Life is hard and then you die - If you think you are exempt from either, you will be disappointed.
3. [For drivers] Everyone else on the road is an idiot.
4. [Primarily for dating but it has broader application]The person who is least interested controls the relationship.

I am testing some second tier lessons but they are not ready to be placed into doctrine.

As an extra bonus, I will pass on some advice on creating multi-generational wealth (not original with me):

1. Invest in assets that appreciate.
2. If necessary. borrow using the assets as collateral to support your lifestyle.
3. Die (your heirs will get a tax free step up in basis in most cases).

The order is important.

Scott
