Welcome to National Fitbit Day! That’s right. The Westras know about these things. Last year, the third Saturday in May was the highest cumulative step count for fitbit owners. So they sent out a challenge to blow the previous record out of the water.  https://blog.fitbit.com/join-us-for-fitbit-goal-day/

Wendy and Rick, thanks for your news about Sister Jensen and that video of Jared in the circus act was very impressive!

Camden and Cayson came up Friday at about 5:30. Casandra took them to the Payson Temple Open House before coming here. Tonight Kim is taking Camden to see Avengers 2. His Sunday School class up here in PG went, but he missed it as he wasn’t here that week. I’d go too, but the movie is a bit too long for me.

Tuesday Kim and I watched The Tourist. We actually own the DVD and Kim found it unopened when cleaning and organizing. She had seen it before. It was good.

Wednesday evening we went to Hale Theater for the opening night of “Big Fish”. It was excellent as usual. Our “big chickens” got picked up Thursday. I called the lady from Hillshrine Farms and she came right over to pick them up. She was hungry. Just kidding… People have been dubious when I told them I found a “shelter” that takes old chickens and doesn’t kill them. They think I’m using a euphemism for the slaughterhouse, but I’m not. Here is their website below:

So the little chickens are out in the coop now. They don’t know to go into the coop when it gets dark so we have to go there and put each one in and close the door. They just all huddle together in a corner in one solid mass of chicken. Chickens aren’t very smart.

Thursday evening Camden had a concert where he played his clarinet. Kim took out Aaron and Seth for a meal after school on Wednesday. She had the day off but did lots of errands. Corin has his prom with Kylie tonight. Aaron got picked up by his cousin William to go to their house for most of the weekend.

Tomorrow we have a party for Cayson and Conner and Ryan’s birthday.
Then we go to Gunnison for Corin’s Seminary graduation.

I donated blood Friday. A book idea I got from Mom and Dad is “The False Prince”, and it is really good.

Have a super week!
Christopher and Kim
