Chris&Kim~Integrity, Pixma - Holographic Land Art

Email Update - December 14, 2020

Good morning everybody. It’s been another fairly full week. Conner’s had some rough days since the surgery. Corin had some minor surgery for ingrown toenails. Kim and I had a quiet weekend Saturday and Sunday - which we needed. We did get a lot of organizing and cleaning done.

Boris and Krystal told me about a scanning app they were using to capture old photos. Corin and I experimented with that one (CamScanner) and with Microsoft Office Lens, and we like the Lens app the best. Boris uses the CamScanner, the other one. So I’m using that app to capture photos, Westra family history photos, and Kim’s old photos. I’ve also having fun experimenting with the Pixma app, which has different filters. I learned about that one from Emil Pakarklis, a photographer who I’ve learned a lot from.

So a few of the photos below are old ones. Integrity came over for a couple hours on Saturday and we had a good time. We read books and made keto gingerbread cookies. Sorry, Dad, they all got eaten - so I'll have to make some more for you before I come again. We also danced and talked, and played ball. Integrity is quite the talker. Mom, we did use the magnet activity that you gave us - with the backgrounds and animals. She liked it.

Corin and I went to Grandma and Grandpa’s house on Thursday and worked all day. We did some more carpet cleaning and also went through a bunch of old coats in one room. We can’t deliver the Deseret industries stuff until December 30. That was the soonest appointment.

Then Friday evening Kim and I dropped off Cayson to Midvale for the weekend, and then took some groceries to Mom and Dad and we had dinner with them. We brought the chicken and Mom provided the rest of the meal.

I’ve added some new parables and stories on this page on Margie’s Messages site -

Here is Prosperity Poem 101 - Holographic Time - 114,701 poems read now.

While studying Geology, I came across this page about land art, and thought some of you might enjoy it. https://mymodernmet.com/jon-foreman-land-art/

Have a super week!
Christopher and Kim
