Update January 4, 2021
Jen- thanks for your family update. And thanks for the 2020 picture collage (above). Here is some of our news - and only a few pics this week. We are making progress on our planned Ping Pong room.
Kim received her first vaccination shot during the week - and will get her second one on January 28. She had no reaction. We really enjoyed Kim’s time off. Thursday she only worked a half day and then I went on errands with her. She doesn’t get that often. Then Friday we worked together on taking down Christmas and some deep cleaning and organizing. New Year’s Eve we watched the first episode of Season Two of Virgin River.
Cayson starts school again today. He is doing very well in his classes and grades. He got one A- each term, so his GPA is 3.957. He starts a couple new classes this semester, woods, popular literature, and he is an Aide for a class. He is not sure what he will be doing as an aide, but he is excited about it.
Wednesday Corin and I drove up to Grandma and Grandpa’s house to work all day. We dropped Cayson off at his Mom’s house on the way up. We hadn’t been up there for a couple weeks, so I spent some good time on all four bathrooms. Wendy arrived with Jaiden and Jenna, so we got to visit with them a bit.
Corin and I put some rooms back together (after much carpet cleaning last time). The room still known as “Shane’s Old Room” is just about completely done. “Done”, meaning very clean, preliminary photos taken, and we know basically what is in there (after much sorting, and trips to the thrift store). Many more rooms to go!
