From Grayson: I use Dropbox. Actually just installed it a couple weeks ago. The free version is 2 gb of storage space. Makes it handy to have things available from any internet connected computer. You create an account at www.getdropbox.com Then you can install the software on your computer. Easy, easy. That’s when you create a folder that is synchronized online and with any other computer that you want it on. After the install is complete, when you save files to your Dropbox folder they are available virtually anywhere you have an internet connected computer. Let me know if I can help.

From Mom/Margie: Too bad Grayson nor I got credit for all of you signing up. If your older kids sign up, have them use this affiliate link and I get free space added to my dropbox. https://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTIyNzkyNTc5
From Grayson: Hey All, I’ll have you know that at this very moment our very own Margie, matriarch of the Westra lineage and guru of all things Family History, is uploading muchos photos!! Important to note that I see no cows in this batch of pics. Still wondering about the Cows of Gunnison ;) Upload, Mom, upload!!
From Grayson: Mom, you’re doing something right because every time you copy a pic or a folder into the Westra Pics folder it shows up on my computer. I have all the pics you’ve sent (and a few duplicates, no big deal) Are you trying to upload them from Internet Explorer?
From Mom/Margie: I just did it from windows explorer--photos, copy and paste in My dropbox in windows explorer. Then I went to the internet dropbox through Mozilla. I can see that more are appearing, so I guess I was just expecting instant transfer and it took awhile. I can see that doing the entire 2009 folder at once did work. So now I guess I should delete the individual copy that is the duplicate. LaMar said the Easter folder may be duplicates also. I see at the website online, you can browse and upload that way. Should I have done it that way, rather than copy and paste in windows explorer? Does that work better? Or either way is fine?
From Gray: Actually through Windows Explorer is the best way and fastest. I’ve noticed that it seems a little slower for things to appear in Internet Explorer (or Mozilla for that matter) so I generally just wait to see them in the Dropbox in Windows Explorer. You’re doing it right. Nice job! Looks like we’re getting some good pics!
